Company History
SolarWinds was founded in 1998 by two brothers, Dave and Don Yonce. From inception, Dave and Don shared a common vision for the company... provide high-end, intuitive network management software that is also affordable and easy to use. In 2006, SolarWinds received venture capital funding from Bain Capital Ventures and Insight Venture Partners and formed a board of directors. Soon after, the company moved its corporate headquarters to Austin, Texas and gained the support of local investor Austin Ventures.
