Company History SolarWinds was founded in 1998 by two brothers, Dave and Don Yonce. From inception, Dave and Don shared a common vision for the company... provide high-end, intuitive network management software that is also affordable and easy to use. In 2006, SolarWinds received venture capital funding from Bain Capital Ventures and Insight Venture Partners and formed a board of directors. Soon after, the company moved its corporate headquarters to Austin, Texas and gained the support of local investor Austin Ventures. Today, SolarWinds continues to bring to market best-of-class solutions that can be deployed in hours providing significant ROI in days, not weeks or years.
